On Saturday July 10 2021, Sound Rebel Magazine made witness to live music as it made its triumphant return to the iThink Financial Amphitheater complete with a new clear bag policy in place, and cashless kiosks. The amphitheater was ready to go.

To open the summer season, Live Nation started with country star Brad Paisley. Paisley brought along two opening acts that did more than just warm the crowd up!

The night started off with former The Voice contestant Kameron Marlowe. He took to the stage around 7:30 PM and performed about an eight song set that ranged from high energy country to melodic tunes that made me want to reach for a Budweiser. He is definitely a name we will be hearing over and over again in the very near future.

Next up on this line up was another country music newcomer that’s definitely climbing the wheels to stardom, Jimmie Allen. His high energy and soulful singing had the crowd singing and standing up to his tunes. At one point during the show a fan threw a beer at Allen in the middle of his performance, and with utmost class he walked back to the stage. Stated over the microphone: “Brad already has your money; you’re here aren’t you?” With that he went on to finish the song. His working class lyrics and melodies were definitely a reason old country music still has a hold on me.

At 9 PM after over a year being delayed because of the pandemic, Brad Paisley took to the stage - the crowd of almost 18,000 were pretty much on their feet. The first five songs were the high energy Paisley stuff that truly showcases why fender has a Guitar named for this guy. For Palm Beach and South Florida, this was a great night. You could certainly tell fans are eager to be back to support live music. The Live Nation crew did an amazing job of everything without a single hiccup, summer is here and as a concert goer - I can’t wait for what’s in store.
